Within It’s a Small World, there are American Travels. For Spring 2011 we’ve created collections of jewelry inspired by places we live and love.

Frisk Jewelry is based in Boulder, Colorado, which is why in our “Down to Earth” collection we infuse the city’s beautiful mountainous scenery, and the prevalence of an organic, healthy lifestyle. Nineteen seventies agate stones are mixed with vintage jewelry pieces sourced in rural and mountain towns of the Colorado frontier. Our deep love for Boulder made us want to pay homage to the city with a new collection for the season.

We’ve spent years traveling to New York, near Donna’s home town. Inspired by the colorful mix of stores and people in Little Italy, the collection references the  Italian relics of Mulberry street. For Italian Royalty we use vintage Italian mosaic beads, hand set vintage mosaic guitars and lavish colored vintage crystal.
