This Spring we drew inspiration from the jungle for our jewelry collections. Sea glass, shell, leather and chain are all dominant elements in our line for Spring/Summer 2012. We brought a little Amazon luxe to land locked Boulder, with jewelry that feels like the tropics.

Is there anything better than good food, fabulous jewelry and glamorous cocktails? Of course not. Every year our Boulder flagship stays open late for a night of holiday shopping and fun. We were delighted when all our favorite places in Boulder hooked us up with the best in food and cocktails. Jax Fish House, one of our favorite spots in Boulder for the past fifteen years provided an amazing array of incredibly delicious food. The crew 303 Vodka Distillery gave us ample booze, along with great cocktail ideas. And of course we turned to Tee and Cakes for dessert (if you ever want to see adult women squeal with joy arrive somewhere with a Tee and Cakes signature hot pink box).

The (Hi)story of Frisk’s Fall Jewelry Collection

We didn’t have to go far to curate the essence of our fall/winter jewelry collection, heading just up the street from Frisk Accessories to shoot our new collection at the Boulder History Museum. Frisk Jewelry’s “A Day at the Museum” pulls from across the globe to capture the culture, style, and history of various locales through four unique themes—Asian Antiquities, Decorative Arts of England, Byzantine Rediscovered, and finally bringing it back to Colorado with Earth and Planetary Science. And we found that right in our own backyard, Boulder History Museum’s exhibit “Storymakers-A Boulder History” was the perfect setting to showcase our favorite pieces from the season. Through a multi-media exhibit of oral history, photographs, and artifacts, the museum’s mission is very much the same as ours continues to be for another season: combining beautiful, distinctive elements to transform stories—of people and the places that they have been—into design. You can peruse and purchase the jewelry in our “What’s New” section of collections.

Our Glam bracelet was a perfect complement to the Miami styles of the Betsey Moss Summer 2012 preview, which was the kickoff to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
